If you want a dot com domain (assuming that you did not come with your own) you would indeed have to pay for it.
WA websites are hosted here inside of Wealthy Affiliate. These websites can be transferred to and from other hosting companies.
a) Start with a niche/idea that you always wanted to do. It has to be an idea that you have a soft spot in your heart for. A passion or desire.
b) Create a website built around the niche/idea. Basically the name, color, structure of the site, how you want it to look, function, and start adding content.
c) Start the training.
Take time and go through all of the training here at WA to get the basic and fundamentals of what marketing is and how to use it to build your business.
d) implement the training or apply what you have learned.
e) What is Content?
Content can be pictures, written blogs around a topic, or videos that you have created. All of this must be able to relate to the title of your website and its identity.
Question 3: Do I have to pay anything to join?
Wealthy Affiliate offers a 7 Day FREE trial with limited access to any of the pro features. This 7 Day FREE trial is to give the user the experience and feel for the website. You will also be able to go through the first section of the training and be able to create your FREE website with the “siterubix” domain “NOT” the dot com.
If after the completing the first section of training for new comers or the 7 Day FREE trial has expired you will be prompted to upgrade to one of our paid pro plans to join the pro side of the platform. IF you so choose.
If this is not the platform for you then you can delete the free account that you created with no issues. 😀

No, as we offer a “FREE 7 Day trial” to test the platform out first and WA “does NOT” guarantee any success using our platform as various factors come into play.
However just as a note once purchase is made Wealthy Affiliate has a zero refund policy. Although the owners will make exceptions at their discretion.
